OUR REALITY, TRUST CULTIVATED.

“The most suitable variety, the most reliable seed.”

WHY DID WE START FROM THE SEED?

It was essential for us to build a working system!

It was essential for us to build a working system!

We began with the seed, as achieving a good harvest ultimately relies on using the right quality seeds.

WHAT IS AGRICULTURAL R&D?

If we were to make an analogy for agricultural R&D, we would call it “environmental and food medical engineering.”

WHY IS BREEDING IMPORTANT?

Because we didn’t have a potato variety native to Turkey, and we had to meet our seed potato needs through imports.

NATURE’S FULL CYCLE

“Nature’s full cycle is our end-to-end integrated system that we have developed over the years.

Doga Seed

A idea, like a seed sprouting, becomes reality when nurtured with faith, determination, and patience.

  • We launched the first private-sector breeding program and developed Turkey’s first potato varieties that meet farmers’ needs!
  • “In our gene bank, we have 72 virus-free varieties that we developed ourselves.”
  • In our tissue culture laboratory, we produce 800,000 potato plantlets annually.
  • We produce 1.5 millionmini tubers annually.
  • We have an annual breeding capacity of 50,000 varieties.
  • Each year, we register at least 5 new potato varieties. Turkey’s first native potato varieties!
